Location: Bonner County – Priest Lake, Idaho
Verdis was hired to resolve a county code violation on a steep lake cabin project. During the resolution process, Verdis worked to obtain approval of a number of variances from the Bonner County Commissioners. Verdis also performed neighborhood negotiations and participated in mediation on the appeal of the variance approvals. The appeal was withdrawn and the homeowner was able to commence construction after nearly a year under a Stop Work Order.
The project also included platting and preparation of a reciprocal easement with the Idaho Department of Lands. The design team also worked with a team of civil and geotechnical engineers to permit the construction of a concrete parking platform.
Verdis also designed the landscape plan – a native planting plan for the waterfront. Our site disturbance plan was designed to ensure complete protection of the water quality of Priest Lake.
