Verdis designed improvements for an existing 2,000’ gravel access road and designed a new 1,500’ section for the road to provide access to a 20 acre waterfront parcel on Lake Coeur d’Alene that will be developed as two single family residence lots. The site improvements included a new access point on W. Hull Loop Road. Verdis worked to obtain a roadway easement to construct the proposed gravel access road in compliance with requests made by the Worley Fire District. Verdis then worked with a local surveyor to subdivide the property into two lots.
In addition to roadway engineering, Verdis designed and implemented a SWPPP for construction, authored a conservation easement, provided preliminary design and feasibility for drain field locations, designed a community water system that will connect to the subdivision to the north, and mapped preferred locations for building sites and driveway locations.
Construction administration for the project included weekly SWPPP site inspections to ensure the project’s adherence to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements, and project management of all materials testing and sampling.
