Verdis is the Northwest’s only woman-owned, full-service land development firm. We offer land use planning, site design, engineering (civil and geotechnical), and construction services. We specialize in all aspects of each discipline.
We are passionate about providing our clients with exceptional service and results. We are fully dedicated to producing common sense solutions to land development challenges that face today’s natural and built environments. We love what we do and we know it shows!
Our story began in 2007, when Gary and Sandy Young, former city and county regulators first hung out their shingle. In 2015, Verdis was accepted in the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program. We are now certified as an 8(a) EDWOSB company and as a result are eligible for federal set aside and sole source contracts. But the work hasn’t come easily. We have still had to compete and perform. We are committed to success in the program and subsequent continued growth – both federally and locally.
In addition to our local private clientele, we have contracted with the following Federal Agencies in 2016: US Forest Service, National Park Service, General Services Administration, Western Federal Highways, US Air Force, Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation.
From a historic window restoration project in a remote park service lodge, to core drilling/sampling in Alaskan campgrounds, to the installation of a fire suppression system – in each project, staff has been able to pair expertise with versatility.
