Verdis was the prime contractor for the Lower Monumental Expansion Joint Repair consisting of replacing one existing expansion joint and installing two new expansion joints located on the juvenile fish bypass pipe on the north side of the Lower Monumental Dam. The installation of the new expansion joints and associated pipe bar included rotating the pipe axially and moving the pipe upwards toward the transition from flume to pipe. Verdis self-performed 100 percent of the contract, including project management, project superintendent, SSHO, Quality Control and all labor required to complete this project. Verdis was responsible for collecting, formatting, reviewing and submitting all project submittals to the Army Corps of Engineers using RMS 3.0.
